Are you able to go see the watch in person and take some better shots? Is the seller wanting some astronomical price?

Thank you for your advice! I am just not sure, if this piece was even manufactured by UG.

no-one else seems to have any doubt - it wasn't!

It will be difficult to see it in person. And I don't know much about watch movements etc. I just like the dial and I have already 2 universals.

And yes he asks quite a lot for a UG watch

Very rare I have no doubt. As for prototype, I suspect it is a prototype in the same way that a Trabant painted red with "V12" badges is a prototype Ferrari.

If you want to collect UG you would already have a book or two and know that to have a chrono you would need a pusher to engage it.

Giving you some advice not trying to be narcy like your reply.

This would save you asking advice on here about a Fake Chrono without a pusher and then telling me that there is bottom pusher watches when the one you showed does not even have a top one let alone a bottom anything.

the only thing that goes through my mind is, that it my be a prototype and very rare...

😗

Happy Collecting

Research is the essence of this hobby so any serious collector will have all of the material available for him to do that research.

Whilst there are many single pusher chronographs and there are also dial-side chronographs, this is neither. It doesn't have any pushers and I seriously doubt that it is a chronograph as there is nothing to operate it. Also the movement would have to be ridiculously thick to accommodate the chronograph and the necessary wheels to drive that dial configuration.

Wow so sensitive. Well thanks for the advice anyway. So its a not functional home build watch. With a fake UG stamp on it.
