Hallo,

attached a picture of a recent acquisition.

This kind of blue shimmer of the sub hands is fascinating me again and again...

Can anybody tell me where to get those rubber parts for the pushers and who could be best to service / refurbish this reference in Europe?

Thanks and a nice weekend for all

Service should not be a problem - it's a valjoux 72

The rubber pusher replacements are available for an arm and a leg on eBay from time to time.

Congratulations on a great example of a great watch - I know exactly what you mean about the blued subdial hands😀

Hallo,

thanks for your replies. I will post another pic just to check with you if my beauty has the washers still in place. Thanks for you PM, woodwkr2.

Just two further questions:

Is it right that the correct end pieces for the bracelet should have a “UM” engraving?

When did UG uses the following “U”-sign, in a period before or after the Space Compax model has been produced or even at the same time?

Thanks and regards

UM endpieces are correct.

That is a later logo, from when they were using tuning fork movements ("Unisonic") - note the stylized tuning fork in the logo

Are the same pushers used on other models too, so it's worth the trouble reproducing them? 😀

I'm not aware of rubber pushers used on anything else.

No, just the SpaceCompax. It's charging the eye-watering markup over production cost that makes it worth the trouble reproducing them. 😉
