UG dial confirmation

Hello All,
I used to be an active member here but sold all my vintage watches, including my extensive tri-compax collection, awhile ago. I am ready to get back in the game and am looking at a UG tri-Compax 12295. I found one that checks most boxes but comes with an odd dial. I can't definitively determine if it is original and a rare variant or if it is a very high quality re-dial. my observations:

1. Haven’t been able to find any reference to other dials with the same non inverted date or double rings
2. The PAX in tri-compax does not seem to align with the rest of the word - could be crystal distortion
3. the minute track markers under the numbers for the minutes are shorter than the rest of the minute track. Every example I have seen the minute track markers are all the same length
4. The applied gold hour markers look like it is possible they have been removed and reattached
5. Tach track is black and not blue - I have seen examples of this before

Any help would be greatly appreciated in validating one way or another. Anyone else seen examples like this? Did UG ever do redials in their services? The font looks crisp and correct.

leaning there as well - though the best one I have seen. Has anyone ever seen a date ring like this?

looks like a redial to me. That many round 3's alone would keep me up at night ! 😆

It’s a redial … not a terrible redial but the flat top 3 is the first thing I check when evaluating a watch. Next is the wider that normal spacing on the telemetry scale. Another indicator is the discoloration round the applied markers.

yes - I agree and have moved on. Truthgully though, the watch looks amazing in a video he sent me. Still tempting but not at original dial prices
