·A week ago I bought a Universal Geneve Compur watch with the 285 movement. Can anyone shed a light on this model?
It's the only Universal Geneve that I've come across with a decimal scale. According to the number on the back it's reference model 22*81. I can't see the third number correctly ( I still haven't received the watch), but it looks like a 4. The case looks very similar to the Universal film model, the bevel on the lugs is almost identical. Judging from the serial number it's from 1941 or 1942.
