Trouble communicating through PM

I'm having a frustrating time as a new member. I've attached a screenshot to illustrate what's happening. As you see, I am trying to contact an administrator, but can't. Would appreciate any advice.

Was successfully able to send a PM, thanks. I'd love to know if I just happen to write in a way that your neural net identifies as spam, or if I said a magic word that earned me the grumpy cat.
