Took the watch out for some daylight. The minute hand was shortened a bit too. Watch is running, but balance is not really good. If someone of you know of a donor movement with intact balance, hook me up please 馃榾

Great thread !
I made a research and could not find any info on the 39.3 movement anywhere. So I guess you used a different movement for parts, probably from pocket watches. Most pocket watches from that era have a 38.2 movement with flat hairspring. So when asking for a donor movement, what movement are you refering to ?

I see your watch has a breguet hairspring, so maybe this could fit ?

To my Knowledge the Cal. 115 would be the best fit. Thanks for your help! The Movement you show is a Cal. 225, correct? Unfortunately they are thinner, so its unlikely the balance will fit 馃檨

According to litterature there are basically the 17, 18 and 19 lignes movements. Those movements are later called 38.2 : 17" , flat hairspring 38.2A: 17" , Breguet hairspring, 40.5 : 18" , flat hairspring and 43 : 19".
From what I understand, 38,2 , 40.5 and 43 have the new bridge layout.
Your movement has the old layout so is linked to the 17", 18", 19" family of movement.
I have found in a balance staff catalogue in which the 18" is the 115 and the 210 using two different balance staffs.
Finally, those movements are often not marked.
Quite a mess !

I would try buying a same size movement with the old bridge layout and a breguet hairspring balance.

Took me some time, but now the watch has a new balance and is working like a charme.
