The story with the hands is weird though.
The seller told me he got it like this in 82, and UG told him it was consistent with a black version but I cannot find any similar example online so is has to be wrong…?
Surprised by the uv reaction similar to the dial though

Here is a little update of how this one turned out. I sourced nos hands and got new pushers from lobtime. It was serviced too in the process

The weather is awful today here so K cannot take really nice lit pictures but that gives the idea 😀

To be honest, the reference doesn’t speak to me that much, I probably won’t keep it, but the restoration journey was fun!
