Can’t wait to drive the GR Supra 🥰 Excellent reviews so far. Awaiting reviews for Toyota reliability, durability and (tunability) ::rimshot::

If the GR Supra matches or is a better “fun to drive” driver’s car than the 86, then sign me up ::psy::

Initial reviews says at par with the Porsche Cayman S or BMW M2C 👍 WoW!

(Sharing my GR 86 😉)

If it sells well, Toyota might produce more powerful variants, although the current numbers seem to be underrated.

The chief engineer or product manager has already stated something to the effect that "this is just the beginning for the Supra" - essentially, that there will be more variants, perhaps more powerful ones. It'd have to be a complete flop for that not to happen I'd think

Yes. Personally am still on the fence, but given the encouraging signs that are starting to emerge regarding the more powerful future variants and maybe a manual transmission, eventually this Supra could become a real winner.

Funnily considering it’s a Z4 under it all there is so much more buzz about the Toyota than there is about BMW.

I look forward to driving one and seeing how it is for myself. With so much hype I hope it’s not just another GT86 that is hyped initially before simply getting left behind and almost forgotten.

I share your opinion. I loved the FT-1 concept, but I am disappointed on the final production looks and specs. A few pics of the concept.

The decrease in dimensions also affected it's presence and appeal to older generations. It now looks like a underpowered compact Toyota 2 seater (even though it's a Z4 underneath), instead of what we all wanted, the rebirth of the legendary Supra.

Being a TVR owner and for those who remember how mad the last ones were especially the Sagaris, when the new TVR Griffith prototype was unveiled a few years back but still yet to make it into production the TVR's boys were really disappointed and thought the prototype Supra was exactly what the Griffith should of looked like, way out there style wise.

Obviously now they don't think the production version is anywhere near crazy enough

Modded Supra does the 1/4 mi in 10.6 secs. This car has barely been released and the aftermarket has already made this car as fast or faster than the heavily modded MKIVs. I'm impressed!

Where are the nay sayers now? Hahaha joke 😉

10 seconds in a quarter mile for a mildy modded stock car is already in supercar territory. Take my money ::rimshot::

Maybe Brian can now pay his debt.

Indeed. Looks like its being hand delivered (from the set of the latest Fast & Furious movie).

I'm liking the new Supra more and more. But if a manual trans option isn't added, I don't think I'd buy one.

Watching the NASCAR Infinity race on the box, Toyota using a Supra in this series although the race car doesn’t look as good as the road version.

You guys know you can get 10 second quarters out of a Fox-body 5.0 for like $10k right?

Making a car run 10 second quarters is easy. Building a 10-second car that's comfortable enough to drive around regularly is hard, which is why they usually cost $300k and have a McLaren or Ferrari badge.

This is more like it!
Toyota GR Supra Heritage Edition
Toyota says was designed "to appear like an evolution of the fourth-generation Supra without losing the modern lines of the exciting new chassis." In addition to the body kit, it's been blessed with a slew of aftermarket bits and pieces bolted to a stock engine block and tuned to produce more than 500 horsepower.

^Yeah, that's how it should've come from the factory.
Yes, that edition would have silenced most critics.
