Got about as foot of snow Sunday night through Monday morning in interior southern Maine, US. -21C this morning when I got in the truck. It's a dry cold, though, not bad.

There's no moisture in the air when it's -21C, so it has to be a dry cold. 👍

It was 17 F today in central Texas and about 1/2" snow on the ground, we get that a few times a year. But it's good for the fruit trees and grape vines. Will warm up to mid-50s tomorrow. Life goes on.

Texas electricity grid holding up fine after the problems we had four years ago when things froze up, plenty of reserves now. 33% wind and solar, the rest gas, coal and nuclear.

Yes. The area of Los Angeles I live in gets them from mid November through March. Always fun to clean the pool.
