Great read @Aquagraph, & happy for you, always nice to get to that 'grail' and happy with your collection. Be interesting to see your SOTC and end collection goals, you have a diverse collection which should be applauded.

I did think there was a SOTC thread somewhere on here, but I get people often dont want to show their whole collection sometimes (i for one love them)

Thanks McBeardy. I did have a 'page' on my blog at one time but as fast as I tried to update it it all kept changing so I took it down until it settled down a bit. There are some 'SOTC' posts on there still from about 4 years ago but the collection has changed a lot since then.

Congratulations AGman! 2,000,000 is a big number, I’m surprised to see the second mill come so fast. You must have a lot of groupies by now! 😍

You and me both.... and it all started with the Kith Heuers. Go figure...

Definitely an odd peak over the last few months, but still an obvious underlying trend over the last couple of years.
Probably AI scraping my blog for TAG Heuer history - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Somebody just contacted me about a couple of watches that are on my blog that AI tells them don't exist. Which must mean that those huge visitor numbers aren't actually AI scraping my blog. Lol.
It's funny that you have to explain to people that just because something isn't on the Internet doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Take the 2024 Harrods Carrera. I only found out about that a couple of months ago. But if Harrods don't put it on the Internet and TH don't... if its only available in store. Its still real.

If these are watches from your "History of series", I can see how AI can miss them. As you don't provide any descriptions other than the ref number for most.

But if these are watches that you've done a "Spotlight on" article or "First Impressions", then AI either didn't scrape your blog for that particular watch or it did but decided it wasn't relevant for whatever reason.

Whichever the case, I never trust AI. I always need to read the source material myself to understand the full context.

I've also noticed a minor change to a query can cause AI to give a different answer and reference different material.

I'm sure AI could have saved me a ton of time finding 90% of every TH ever made.... it's the 10% that it wouldn't be able to finish isn't it.
