The tin tin is the absolute best purchase I've ever made in my entire life. I will never let go of this watch. It has everything that a Speedmaster should have; Racing and space heritage with a dash of childish whimsy.

Snagged my TinTin at a OB this week while traveling - didn't see this coming but could not pass up the opportunity. Going in the safe.

Nice find. Too bad it is discontinued.

These will probably pop up for sale NIB now and then. But its probably a good idea to get one before supply starts to dry up. I still remember not too long ago when many LEs were easy to find at reasonable prices.

Funny you would comment, although I bought it thinking it would be a NIB piece someday it's started to grow on me. I'm rethinking about putting the TinTin in the safe. Thanks for the push.

Pic on the wrist, or it didn't happen 馃榿.
And if these ever become super-collectible and NIB sell for a fortune, well, here's hoping you don't know where I live... 馃槣

I'll accept my fortune or misfortune depending what I do, no worries Muttley.

I really like these Speedmasters. Very cool looking dial. 馃グ

I really wish they weren't associated with that particular cartoon.馃檨 Beautiful watches but they should have stuck with the 'Racing Dial' Theme.

The Omega Speedmasters were powered up to the moon in those amazing rockets and worn by real hero's with names like 'BUZZ!'馃檮
When I was a kid in the 1960's I used to watch Tin Tin on TV when I came home from scool. The announcer would say, in a deep manly, voice,

"HERGES!... ADVENTURES!... OF TIN TIN!"馃ぎ

Even at 7 or 8 years of age I can remember watching it and thinking.... "Fakkin Hell! He's such a wanker! With a 'Wanky' rocket... and a 'wanky' dog!.... and who's the bloke with the beard?... and what's the deal with those 'fakkin' twins? Grrrrrr! 馃槨 When is 'Fireball XL5 on TV?... with STEVE ZODIAC!馃檮 Or 'STINGRAY' with 'TROY TEMPEST'?馃檮 Why can't we watch 'THUNDERBIRDS'?馃檮 Their rockets don't look 'wanky' like TIN TIN'S?馃槨

I love the watches!馃グ... but after 50 years, my hatred of 'TIN TIN' has endured. His 'Fakkin' rocket looked like a cheap lava lamp!馃槨
Then I got confused...馃槙 because on THUNDERBIRDS... TIN TIN... was a lady! 馃槙 WTF?馃槙
See! Even back then in the 1960's they were 'fakkin around' with kids heads!馃槙

on THUNDERBIRDS... TIN TIN... was a lady!
Tin-Tin was okay, but Lady Penelope was the hotness.

True story... we passed FAB1 on the M4 motorway heading into London one day in the mid '60s! Of course these days I know it had to have been a mock-up because the original was "only a model", but to a sub-10-year-old Thunderbirds fan, it was a lifetime of Christmases rolled into one. The guy driving didn't look much like Parker, though. 馃檨
