When I bought my Breitling Old Navitimer from an AD back in 2002 (the watch was in their pre-owned case and was about 3-4 years old) after the preening and dealing and payment made, they went in the back to give it wipe down and came back with a pretty store bag with ribbon handle and inside was a store branded box. I pulled it out and despite it being a pretty leatherette store branded box, it wasn’t the Breitling box. I pushed, and they went back to the stockroom- 10 minutes later they produced the yellow Breitling box, inside was the inner black box with extra links for the bracelet, booklet, instruction manual for use, warranty cards, bezel protector....I think this was standard for them to give a store box as watches were commonly gifted and they wanted their brand on the box as free advertising...no thanks.
