Inspired by the ultimate Omega box thread I thought we could
do the same with Longines. All Longines boxes are welcome,
old, new, parts boxes etc. And let`s try to connect them to a
period and if possible a watch馃憤

I`m starting with some boxes from my collection.

Cardboard, dating to mid 1930`s based on the graphics.

Good thread idea!

I'll begin with perhaps the least common that I have owned. This, I believe, was used for the second generation Conquest, but as it is so rarely seen, perhaps for a special (e.g. 18k) model. I sold it to our old friend Dennis (aka ulackfocus). Early '60s I would guess.

This one housed an uncommon cal. 340 Chronometre, which I seem to recall that I sold on this very forum. Probably early/mid '60s.

This one housed a mid-late '50s "pre-Conquest" Automatic, sold to a Japanese dealer friend:

This one I still have; Early to mid-'40s, U.S. market; small, but could have been for a man's watch given the period; the red pamphlet has "Do's and "Don't's", and the first "Don't" is "Don't open the case back - ever!" 馃榿

Nice! I had this brass logo for a while and did not know where it came from. Now I
can see it`s probably from a box simular to yours馃憤

bought this a few years ago from the USA. A brass box about 15 脳 6 cm. I suppose it is from the early 50's. I do not know which watch was delivered with it. Hope someone on the forum has information.
Thanks in advance
Anders

As far as I know a similar box was used for the early divers watches references...

I believe this came with 1950-60 US produced Longines Wittnauer watches. It is one of the most common boxes...
