Jaeger-LeCoultre has been sharing lots more of their "sound maker" posts on social media, and has recently highlighted the Deep Sea Alarm and Memovox Polaris in their posts. Today they launched a teaser for at least two new models coming on Oct 1, and it looks like a Memovox addition to the Polaris lineup.

There was another one they teased with Benedict Cumberbatch that looked like it might have been a different model, but not sure.

Only question I have is, how will this be materially different from the last Memovox Polaris edition from just 2 years ago - looks like the same case and dial fonts etc.

Still - exciting!

I've heard that its a new calibre with slimmer case than the current ones. Looks very enticing indeed.

why are the seconds a diff lume color? any good reason? I thought it'd be more appropriate if the alarm pointer were the diff colored lume.

The minute hand is different colour to differentiate from hour hand. Also the seconds hand has lume, in order to fullfill criteria for ISO certified diver.

The minutes hand on dive watches is often set with a different lume tint so that it's extra recognizable and readable in murky underwater conditions.

If the dive computer fails, perhaps. I'm certain only the WIS's stare at their useless watches underwater 😀

Well yeah, every feature on a current watch is sort of more symbolic, for the coolness of it. Though sometimes it can help for quick readability anyway

Seems odd that the bezel triangle is still in blue even though the minute hand is in orange (lume).
