I phoned two people in Omega who claimed that she was produced so little they can not give the exact number.

I asked if the book production year could match the number of existing shows. but they know nothing. it seems to be the assumption

They confirmed to me but it was rare and that production has been stopped since 2014 but has yet to distributors until 2015.

Very nice pair! I have something similar, but more along the lines of "something old, something new":

Lovely pairing. Have you added your Tintin Serial# here, CdnwatchDoc? We are slowly building a picture.

Great looking watch! Still can't believe that the Herge's family got cold feet. Have you got the rocket to go with it yet? 😎

To my further - extreme - surprise I'm getting increasingly taken with this Tintin version and I'm now hovering dangerously close to a purchase - at £3,150 - how do others here feel about that for value? I wonder if it would be feasible to fit a Tintin dial to my 3570.50? View attachment 187445 View attachment 187446 View attachment 187446 Meanwhile, I'm attaching another visual of Tintin on the Moon. I have bought myself a pin badge, same as I got for my grandson's Xmas stocking, so mania is now becoming firmly established!

Error returned on trying to view the attachment, davy26.

I take it that is an AD price?

I ended up getting two model Tintin rockets, one for my grandson and one for myself. I refuse to grow old and die...so far so good

Not an authorised Omega dealer, but a major retailer whom I trust from a recent IWC Portuguese purchase.
Not sure about attachments - they are bad links in the text, but I can 'see' the two pics intended embedded in my post, i.e. book cover and pin badge - please let me know if these are not visible on the forum.
I have seen the rockets and like them - quite expensive though? (BTW) grandsons come in handy to help justify these kinds of indulgence!
Regards.
David

I have been looking further at available Tintins as of now - average price is £2,197, so that one I mentioned previously seems a bit over-priced.
