@masteroftime has really started something with his 168.022 thread: looks like there are lots of late 60s/early 70s sparkle dials out there, all of them rather nice. It's (northern hemi) summer, so let's get them out! Even if they've been posted before, so what. Doesn't have to be 168.02x. Hey, doesn't even need to be Omega if it's the right period and the dial sparkles!
Here is 166.067 from c.1968 to start.

A bit wet out today so have reached for my sparkle dial SM. This really is tidy for a 50 year old watch, as I noted elsewhere these are grossly underrated and underpriced at present. This is the 166.032:

I am sort of on a quest to collect all the sparkle dials. This was my second one, a gold-clad 166.067 containing a cal. 565

I’ve had a couple. In general the references that have sparkle dials as an option are great watches for people who want a vintage Seamaster larger than the usual 34mm as they’re usually 36-38mm watches.

That is the model that is highest on my hit list! Is this Dan S from Colo?

Did all sparkle refs have a date window?
I think they all have either a day or day and date window

just buttoned up this 166.090!
Still needs a new crystal/gasket but it will do for now.
