Is that gold BoR original? I haven't seen one with gold beads before.
My WM believes the band is original to the watch. I needed to lengthen the band by three links, so purchased a length of Omega BoR. It fit perfectly.

Omega 2278-3 with Cal 320 from 1959. It shows the wrinkles of time, but has developed a beautiful, warm golden hue that is just amazing in the sunlight. 馃榾

I've got this Bulova 'His Excellency' from 1950 that is white gold filled with original dial and gold hardware.

And I still have my FIRST watch from ca. 1958.
