I found this Seiko kinetic in French car-boot
It'snot working .
Do you have any ideas about problems ?

If you've given it a good shake to charge it and it's still not working then the capacitor probably needs changing. They're lithium these days and on full charge last for monthe rather than a week for the old capacitors.

Capacitors are relatively cheap, but changing them means dealing with some microscopic screws, so if you're not comfortable doing that then any watchmaker can do it for you.

Good watch to find at a car boot Have you seen what they're selling for?

Yes, I saw the price these sellers are asking for their Seiko 馃槺
But I haven't found any limited edition gold-plated ones?
Does anyone have any other information on this model

Had a watchmaker tell me once the kinetic Sieko's weren't the watch to buy, he said they had issues? I know these are advertised around $3,000 and up for NOS or like new, but unless you just love it, I don't think I'd invest much to get it running, especially being gold plated.
I love the Sportura line in quartz though. I have a couple.

I admit that the new Sportura models are much more pleasing to the eye than the one I'm presenting, and gold-plated is even worse.
I would never spend that much money on this kind of watch.
But it takes all sorts to make a world.
And especially in this watchmaking world.
