Seiko Brian May "Red Special" SRPE83K1 - alternative bracelets

Hi All - need a bit of help with the Brian May limited edition Seiko (SRPE83K1) - I have been very fortunate with my wife presenting this great piece to me recently. I love the link between Brian's guitar and the dial, i also love the fact that this is an "everyday" watch for me! As this is also a first Seiko watch I own, I have a question about Seiko bracelets. I would like to have an option of switching the nato strap it came with to bracelet. But I have no clue on the exact part numbers that can match this watch. Also, can you maybe help with some pics of how it can fit the watch? Eg. i think brushed bracelet is more practical, but the watch case is polished, so not sure if it will fit. Can you please help and share your experience?

Mine is a modded SKX007, with the Brian May dial but a few minor tweaks (eg. black day/date wheel). I've kept the original Seiko jubilee bracelet, which I feel suits the watch just fine. Hopefully this gives you an idea of what the watch looks like on bracelet. You can also check out the #seikobrianmay hashtag on IG to see more examples of jubilee & oyster bracelets (and even rubber straps).

Also, as mentioned earlier, Uncle Seiko, Strapcode all have 3rd party bracelets that are of good quality and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a look!

Not to hijack, but what watch is that? Very cool.

I had a modder build it for me recently. New OEM case, movement, and chapter ring - SRPE case, caliber 4R36. I wanted "snowflake" hands (to match the cap on Mt. Fuji doncha know), but not sure where he sourced those. There is a very large Seiko modding community and component suppliers.

Dial was hand made by a different guy in the style of Japanese artist Hokusai - whose work I have always admired. It is laser etched on titanium with different wavelengths producing the image, which ranges from grayscale through full color depending on the angle of view. Both of these photos in direct sunlight.

Very fun and comfortable to wear, which I do often. Cheers!

sorry - one more question - if i want to go for an uncle seiko president bracelet there is a pretty wide choice:
https://www.uncleseiko.com/search?q=president+bracelet&options[prefix]=last
but i understand that the correct one is the SRPE version (since Seiko Brian May is ref SRPE83K1)
https://www.uncleseiko.com/products...rious-srpe-models?_pos=5&_sid=63abbb23e&_ss=r

Correct?

I'm not very well acquainted with seiko's more modern offerings, but if memory serves my right, your model should have 22mm lugs. The bracelet in the second link you posted seems to fit the 20mm fixed bezel seiko '5' references only.

Very helpful! I am a fan of NATO straps, especially like them during summer, so I will borrow the idea of black/red coloured strap! Thanks
