I bought this Aqua Terra Co-axial Olympics Edition when I used to live in Korea from Lotte Department Store authorised Omega dealer in 2012 in the year of issue.

I had it serviced last May 2019 by Omega, case refurbished and replacement genuine original strap. It has the Omega warranty card good until May 2021. To my embarrassment, I have not worn it since then so it is mint. It has the original box papers etc. From memory I paid about $11,000 for it.

Realistically I am not wearing the watch so considering selling while still under Omega warranty, or should I just get over myself and enjoy wearing it?

Be interested in the forums view on how special it is (or otherwise) before investing time and effort selling.

Yeah, this reads like an attempt at a backdoor sales post. Maybe I’ll eat my words, but I expect we won’t be seeing Mr. Chozzer again.

Jomashop has one of these, but they’re asking almost 9k for it. Knowing how poorly precious metal Omegas fare on the preowned market, for what it’s worth I’d urge you not to pay a penny over 6k for one of these. They just don’t hold much value. For 9k you’re getting into preowned Day-Date territory—those retain value far better.
