Hello!
Any idea or seller for a SM300 bezel without insert? Original or Aftermarket...
I just want to keep my original one safe.
Many thanks
Best Regards

Omega make a service bezel, which has been mentioned previously. Source one of those via eBay etc and use that if you want to keep yours separate

I suggest you try a replica (fake/counterfeit) watch forum website.
Any link to advice me please?
Many thanks

Just search for it on eBay. "SM300 bezel" or use the watch reference number. Probably should be able to track down a part number and could use that to search also.

Interesting, just recently saw them in EBay. Have seen also a Seamaster 120 version. Have a complete Omega 564 movement laying around, tempted to built a Seamaster 60 / 120 homage as a daily if the case dimensions are correct

A replacement bezel is one thing, but a counterfeit case marked Omega is something else entirely.

My guess is that this will make the Watchco SM300's worth more.
The Watchco are frankenwatches. Even though the case, dial and hands are real. They didn’t leave the factory with the movements inside them.

Even if you took a movement from a genuine model. I’m guessing still a frankenwatch.

I'm happy with my all original SM300. It uses a converted Geneve cal. 565 and uses Omega parts I purchased. No service case leaves the factory with a movement installed in it. My Geneve was entirely converted to another reference in accordance with (then) approved policy as it related to the SM300. The specific SM300 policy was changed because it was being abused in Omega's opinion. As it remains a genuine watch, it can be serviced by Omega even.

From my recollection, these conversions were never explicitly endorsed by Omega policy. Just not disallowed.

A watchco will never be an “all original” Omega but it certainly can be all OEM and is by all accounts an Omega. There is an important difference.
