·Sometimes, we regret the chance we never had.
In my case, it was Apollo 11.
This watch was released in 2019, to mark the 50th anniversary of the first OMEGA Speedmaster to walk on the lunar surface.
I was not into watches in 2019 (that’s not true, more like I didn't think I was in a sufficient financial state to buy a luxury watch)
I discovered this watch from a YouTube video and I know I must have it.
I mentioned it to my OB, and they were kind enough to send a letter to Biel on my behalf to explain how much I love the Speedmasters.
Last month, my OB blessed me the last available piece, straight from Biel. Serial number 5078/6969.
I feel so fortunate to obtain this, straight from OB, in 2025… 6 years after it was discontinued.
The moral of the story is: never be shy to ask questions!!
