A couple more showing mega FAT font inserts 😁
Is the sub insert a third party? Actually are they both third party?

That’s not a sub insert...

I recently purchased a 16710, and think I am now hooked on GMTS. Sporty yet still sleek, and can be dressy with a jubilee.

Going to definitely keep my eye out for a 1675 or early 16750 and pick one up in the future.

Awesome iconic watch! With the Submariner "no date" is one of the Rolex I would love to have! 😀

Here's my daily wear 16700. The red is turning pink, and I'm very happy!

You also got the pretty rare Swiss dial, very nice.

I love Speedmasters but the GMT 1675 / 16750 is my obsession. They age in so many different ways. Here are a few pictures I have collected over the years of my favourite examples.

Amazing patina on the dial, blue jeans faded insert, fat case.

How often do you see a ghost insert? So cool

A watch recently listed for sale by The Vintage Concept (Hong Kong) Definitely worth following on Instagram
Preach! While mine is the 16710, the GMT has been my grail watch for decades. Finally pulled the trigger early this year and now it rarely leaves my wrist.

I opted for a newer tritium 16710 and will play the “watching the patina change” game for the next 20 years.

I've been thinking about a 1675 for awhile now but I haven't quite gotten comfortable with all the dial variants (I.e. mkI long E vs later)

I've also seen prices vary dramatically across the internet. Anywhere between $7.6 for a polished and tired dial all the way to $14-15 for a more pristine example.

I may lean towards a 16750 matte dial given the production year overlap with my birthyear. I don't know.
