Hi guys,

is there any advise in removing the bezel of a Seamaster 120? My normal approch wood be a polyurethane bezel removing tool. But I also noticed a little notch in the bezel next to the 12. Should I go for the notch with the Horotec case back opener?

Thank you and best regards
Jan

Yes, you can use the case opener or a cheese knife, but it is better if you cover both the instrument and the watch with scotch tape.
It's not difficult but it takes a little practice.
I highly recommend having a watchmaker remove it, it probably won't cost you anything, and maybe you'll learn how to do it safely.
If the insert is bakelite, leave it where it is. It breaks easily.

Hi daderaz,
thank you for the hint with the scotch tape! It worked very well with the case back opener. Here the result 😉
