Recommend an (entry level) vintage Moon Phase watch for me!

Hey guys,

I love many of the examples in the popular thread here which displays triple date moon phase watches. In fact, my dad bought me my first vintage watch when I was in high school - An 80's citizen quartz moon phase watch. I'd like to upgrade to a more respectable watch.

I have been looking intently for an Omega Cosmic Moonphase and I just am not impressed with the quality of the examples around and I'm not great at spotting redials yet. It seems like a lot of moon phase watches look really tired and beat up. That being said, I'd like to get a nice vintage moon phase watch for myself that won't break the bank. I don't necessarily even need the triple date, maybe just a single date feature would be nice.

Any brands I should look out for and any recommendations?

Thanks,
Ben

Big fan of the Record Datofix. In-house caliber 106c or 107c (depending on date) and frequently found under $1k.

not quite vintage (yet) but ticks all the boxes.

Sea Gull's M199S fits the bill. It's got a tri-compax layout rather than a traditional triple calendar though.
