I know rare is a term used a bit to frequently, but I think this comes fairly close.

CK 2014 measuring an enormous for 1938 36-mm across and 50-mm lug tip to lug tip.

The few others I've seen have had the 26.5 SOB sub seconds movement, this one having a 23.4 SC dating to 1939.

Just thought I'd share this one with you.

OK that's pretty damn cool, love the lugs!

You have some wrist shots?

One of my all time favorite omega watches! This watch is part of omega's medicus line - the center seconds served to help physicians and nurses calculate a patient's pulse rate.

Very nice watch! Is this the one that's nicknamed the scarab?

Scarab pertains to both the center and subseconds version. Essentially, this is a scarab medicus!

To give some idea of just how big this thing is, my wrist is just under eight inches!

Looks really good on you! I remember seeing a similar one in a local shop, now I'll have to go take a closer look at it!

There is a smaller version of this watch also with the crown standing out rather than flush with the case as in this example.

Do you mean this one?

Ref 615, this one has the 26.5 SOB.

Yep that's the one I remember, the 615. How much does that one usually go for?
