Hi, just would to know if there is anything glaringly obvious if this watch is real or fake? On the rehaut does the R have to line up with the 5 minute markers and the X have to stop on the 4th marker? Is this a hard and fast rule? At 12 o’clock on the rehaut there is a crown so doesn’t the presence of the crown push everything out?

I attach a photo of the watch in question. I am yet to inspect it close up. Any pointers would be helpful as to what to look for. Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Rehaut alignment should not be your only method of determining authenticity. The super clones mimic that. Take it to a watchmaker or walk away.

Buy from a trusted seller. These watches are commodities… there are tens of thousands of them.. if the price is not in alignment with all of the other grey market sellers there’s probably a reason.

An authentic Rolex Rehaut has the "X" on the 5min markers to the right, and the "R on the left, which that one looks correct, though as others said, some of the fakes get this right as well.

Another giveaway can be the serial number. For some reason they tend to re-use their serial numbers for a lot of fakes, so searching it can be helpful. BEST I can tell is 343nt676 ? Though I'm not sure about the T. I don't see anything on a quick google, but again, even the fakes have been using random numbers for high-end enough "replicas".

That said, the bezel color change looks a little too 'sharp' to me? So if I were buying it, I'd want a bunch more pictures to take a look at and spend a while on it.

In the end, popping off the back and looking at the movement (particularly the balance!) is really the only way to figure it out.
