I really like the XLR as well- don't understand why it didn't do better. Was based on the Corvette chassis from memory

It was a Corvette with an automatic for twice the price. Automatics back then weren't the fast-shifting performance boxes they can be today. Keep in mind it was a C5 platform too.

Really wonderful exterior styling though, if there was some way to get a C7 Grand Sport underneath that body....

that's my favorite caddy 😀 Harle, that sure is a beautiful car - I'm a Ford (Mustang) guy but must absolutely give credit where credit is due - I have always liked this car and agree that I was also surprised to see it phased out - what a sexy car!

Yes manual 997T a bit rarer than the Tiptronic... Only car I've ever had that is growing in value instead of depreciating...
