Rarely does anyone gift me a watch

My wife and I always check the wedding anniversary gift themes each year and get each other something on theme. For our recent 15th anniversary the modern theme was watches (the traditional theme is crystal). We went out to dinner where my wife gave me this:

It’s actually fairly well made and I enjoy the joke. I wore it every day following our anniversary.

Then this last Saturday morning she drove me to the OB near us and took me inside where they had this waiting for me:

I usually try to get her nice things each anniversary and don’t worry about myself much but she definitely went above and beyond this time.

Great post. My wife once bought me a watch for my birthday, this UG Medico-Compax. I don't wear gold watches very often, but it's nice for a special occasion.

She’s now given me three watches in total. The first was this Breitling Skyracer on our wedding day before I knew diddly squat about nice watches. It’s the ultimate tool watch BTW.

In response to the title of thethread: Me either.
Great gifts. Watches are great, but are extra meaningful when they are already freely given gift. Congrats!

At least you didn't get an Omeco Fukimaster. Don't Google it, especially the caseback.

I’ve googled enough things in one lifetime that I can probably skip this one. If anyone would like to describe it in graphic detail feel free.

They’re both keepers: the wife and the watch

Helped her buy a watch a few years ago when she complained that women’s watches are too small and dainty. Got her an IWC Pilots Chrono.

That is impressive for a gift. When I want anything like that I’m definitely on my own to get it for myself.
