Looks authentic given the typeface, but man - Heuer really dodged a bullet by allowing this to remain a "prototype"!

Yes, Nic is the man who would have access to genuine prototypes.

Not my style, but I guess the same era as this

That one's not as bad, but still out of character for Heuer.

I always thought the Cortina / Daytona got short shrift, as they're fairly attractive when viewed as Heuer's chronograph competitor to the Royal Oak et al.

Take a look at the way the numerals are cut-off by the sub-dials...exactly the same for both watches!

Agree on the Cortina. I had the Black dial for a while....loved it

The Cortina above looks OK. The Carrera prototype just looks wrong. Roman numerals with that dial. Just no.

It looks like an Omega Speedmaster Mark II; only not as good.
