Front end finally fixed after a knucklehead truck driver slowly drove over the fender and scraped it up. But now the headlining is sagging so I’ll need to get that sorted as it’s getting stuck in my hair. Fantastic aside from that though.

Black Friday’d a set of Morimoto LED taillights for the Turbo. Quite like the look!

Oh I feel like a 911's gotta have a rear wiper. Not a deal breaker especially on a car as well spec'd as this one was but I'm super glad it has it!

I thought that was standard! I know mine has one, it’s super useful when I was daily driving it over the winter.

It’s something that dealers almost never spec here anymore, typically custom orders only where customers select it. At a recent Porsche event here I went around and counted 7 out of 60 odd cars, and that was a mix of old and new cars so pretty low. None of the 992s had it and the only other 991 was a 991.1 Targa which actually looks really cool with the rear wiper as it hangs off the glass and looks rather prominent.

I'm the opposite. Don't really care for this option.

My 911 doesn't have one and I've never missed it. My wife's Macan does (standard equip) and I consider it a nuisance. Just makes cleaning the rear glass more of a pain. Never use it, except when it comes on automatically but wouldn't have turned it on otherwise.

It doesn't snow where we live, that's only occasion wear I'd think it would be practical to have.

Am I right in thinking you live somewhere warm/dry? In the uk winter it makes such a difference, clears the salt and spray off so you can see out the back (and park). It’s mildly annoying there isn’t a rear washer too.

It’s useful in heavy rain or in traffic / local streets where you’re stopped a decent amount.
I wouldn’t say it’s necessary for function, but I just think it looks right, especially on a Turbo
