Classic dial and beautiful hands - maybe place a piece of tracing paper between the light source and the subject to avoid the small glare.

·I too have an old watch that is pock marked and difficult to photograph - the dial is printed in 3 shades of grey - just had another go and just noticed after owning the watch for over a year that the bottom gold baton is missing.
