Patek Philippe Beyer real or fake?

Hi everyone,

I've come into possession of what looks to be a rather old Patek Philippe Beyer watch.

I'm naturally sceptical of its authenticity and thusly I wanted to get the opinion of some forum members. I'm not looking to keep it but thought it was quite the piece.

Thanks everyone!

Provenance? A serial number?

I'll be getting more photos of the watch tomorrow as I'm outside currently.

If you'd care to sell it at the value of a fake, please contact me. 🙄

I'll grab one tomorrow. I know that's important, just wondering how I'll open the watch.

I'll also list it for sale tomorrow, just a little clueless as to its true value minus the fact that it's a Patek.

Look inside the case back for the reference number and do a google search. Really not that difficult.

Yep I'll be doing that later, I apologise if asking for a second opinion seemed lazy to you somehow...

As a related aside, and this is something that is very rarely applicable to the "real or fake" threads, Patek Philippe (and Vacheron) often used Champlevé (look it up) on their dials during the '40s into the '60s, and this one appears to show it. That alone pretty much rules out the possibility of a redial.

Beeing an old reseller of Patek, Beyer on Patek is genuine, seen on many models, I have similar on a vintage Nautilus.
