Over the last 30 plus years I had owned a few Patek Philippe models. Some rare, some not so rare.
When I spotted this one at a retailer I pulled the trigger, as you guys like to say.
I love the quality. Reminds me a bit of the 2526 Calatrava I had some years ago, which ended up in Japan.

Beautiful example, and with its original bracelet - very classy. Congratulations. Still a goal of mine to own a vintage Calatrava

Thank you all. I knew you would like the watch 😀 At over 165 grams you notice the weight but who can not get used to it … 😉
I found out that the original price was over $47,000 and although there are several used ones offered for sale on the Internet, none but mine
comes with the original bracelet. On another note, what do you guys think about old pocket Patek watches being converted to wrist watches?

Beautiful watch, it reminds me of this Raymond Weil watch a little but if course the Raymond is quartz watch and not in the same league.

How does it compare to the other Patek watches you have owned?

Well, this one is a contemporary model, a bit similar in size to the one in my avatar. The other one had a more complicated movement.
All others were vintage.
