Think of what you could spend £18,000 on though... like an actual Rolex instead of a pretend one.

Look what just popped up just outside Queens:

It's indeed part of the same group. No watches (thank god) ... yet.

But the John Varvatos has already drawn first blood. Great

Highly collectible and limited-edition piece with significant provenance. Here is a full assessment for your flipping consideration.
Tudor Black Bay 58 Ref. 79030B. 'Platinum Jubilee RaSP' edition, created in 2022 to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. "RaSP" stands for "Royalty and Specialist Protection," an elite unit of the London Metropolitan Police tasked with protecting the Royal Family. These watches were available exclusively to a very limited number of serving and retired RaSP officers. Only 300 were produced!

Must be the season for moon phase:
From what I understand the Asian market respond well to dress watches and moonphases. As that market is down and effects all Swiss Sales.

I wonder if it's also because there is an excess in the movement or selita has price them so low that brands are finding it hard to pass up because both Tag Heuer and Tudor who are leaning into their in house bag--now all of a sudden both have 39mm moon phases with movement supplied by Selita and that's not including the micro brands and I personally haven't seen people begging for a moon phases that the brands would be rushing to enter that market

Potentially. Although oddly Tudor still have a few collection that use the Selita, but could be the last role of the dice

Another blue-faced watch was recently added to my diminutive collection. Lightweight titanium and decent luminescent, as well.

Hmm...just by looking at that render
  • no date is a nice fresh addition but won't be everyone's choice
  • solid caseback will be hit or miss, but it will most certainly mean thinner case
  • case has lost a bit of that recongizable lyre lug profile it seems
  • new style open cardinal numerals
  • lugs look now a bit 'pinched', likely 20mm but the case could be 42-43? Not a great look, certainly in my eyes less attractive as it makes the case look like a puck.

Let's see some real life shots and videos 😎
