Is that this watch?

Seems to be a new Carrera Dato release, but I've only seen posts of it in Asian markets. Do you have any details?
Yes that was it. He said they had just received it ready for an imminent release.
I believe to celebrate the new Chinese Zodiac.
On the 7th of every month, the date window will show a written form of the Zodiac if my memory serves we right.

They also had the latest Fujiwara which I had already seen at the summit.

Neither my cup of tea really but nice pieces.

Thanks! It must be for the Year of the Horse (2026). I know quite a few Chinese/Japanese characters but did not recognize the character in the date window. But since you mentioned the Zodiac characters, I looked up "Horse" and there it is.

This seems to be the character used with the Zodiac. The normal Chinese character for Horse is this one.

I've seen a pic of the upcoming Fujiwara Fragment. I much prefer the first one he did with the older heritage style Carrera glassbox.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, TAG Heuer should hire you as a designer. 😉

But the first watch that came to my mind was the Team Ikuzawa. 😜

Do you think they'd be interested in a youthful, just turned 50-yr old creative designer who's interested in an internship? That would make for a good story, right?

"La Chaux-de-Fonds Intern" Season 1

Willing to relocate to Switzerland.

Why not? Never too late to follow your dreams. It would be like Nathon Fillion's character in the Rookie (ABC TV Series).

Ha! Rookie is my lifelong nickname, hence Rooklyn.

I have four posters from ~91 direct from Heuer that I requested. Any value? I would imagine anyone with any of these watches might be interested. The F1 car is cool, too, I think It is Michael Schumacher.

I would imagine they would have some value, especially the middle two because of the Ayrton Senna connection. Albert and Michael will probably fight over those...

I'm just starting my next model car project, a 1/20th scale plastic kit of the '94 Williams FW16. I spotted this tiny TAG Heuer decal as part of the decal set, which I find curious.
It seems the Williams used some kind of TAG Heuer electronics, I'm guessing perhaps part of the F1 timing equipment? I wonder if all the F1 cars of that era had a similar device. Or maybe it's not related to F1 time keeping at all?

Anyone know what this is?

I would think it's a transponder or transmitter related to telemetry or time keeping.Possibly the clip that is visible is a tamper proof seal, so an FIA mandated bit of kit.
Here is one from a kart, looks a similar sort of thing.

Thanks, that's what I thought too. Interesting that Karts use something similar.

I also think this is the transponder for the official timekeeping. The attention to detail in this scale kit is amazing! 😳👍🏼

I think 94 was the first year back for Tag Heuer after Longines so it fits.

I'd love to build the 1/12 FW16 kit from Hiro but they are VERY expensive, the detail is mind blowing.

Yes, this is my first time building a Fujimi model F1 car kit and I'm impressed with the level of detail. It even has the wires molded into the nose cone and engine details. In comparison, the Tamiya 1/20th model kits do not have this level of detail. Part number 3 is where the TAG Heuer decal goes.

I've been slow to build this kit because the Rothmans livery is quite complex. I'm still figuring out how I want to do the body work painting and decal application.
