I guess that it depends upon what you mean by classic. I would probably vote for the pie pan Constellation because there really isn't anything else like it in the watch world. As compelling as the Speedmaster and Seamaster are, there are dozens of chronograph and diver models on the market.
That’s essentially a Constellation without “Constellation” on the dial.
No its not! Its essentially pre-crap era cursive text Geneve without anything on the dial. A Connie would have a centre second. I think we can agree it is beautiful though.

Ah, good point. And I should know that because I have a cursive Geneve and several Connies in my collection.
I’m sort of in two minds about this, when I think of the most iconic classic Omega that just makes an impact and stands for the best of the brand, the OT2930 grand luxe and OT2699 Constellations are at the top of that list but they’re quite uncommon at the same time.
Then when I think of the classic Omega in terms of the every man’s watch that was produced in incredible numbers, left a generation of happy customers and greatly exceeded its remit, I think of the Seamaster De Ville reference 166.020. Omega cranked out so many of those 166.020s and the majority of them are still very good.
Firmly in the 1950s Constellation camp here. This style no matter how rendered, in stainless steel or gold or any factory combination thereof is my favorite Omega of all.
