Opinions on this Memovox

Hello All!

Was thinking of making a purchase on this vintage JLC Memovox. I've done some research and everything appears to be correct. Working on getting a movement pic. However, I am going "back and forth" on if this dial has been repainted. Wanted to check in here to see if anyone else can put their eye on it and render an opinion.

Thanks!

Case condition is very nice, but I don’t like the dial either. Specifically the ‘jaeger lecoultre’-writing and the 6 o’clock marker seems slightly off in the pictures. So I think either just a redial or a later watch (eighties based on the font). Value for these watches is mainly in the dial and attraction in hand. See for comparison (sadly not my watch)

Thank you very much for the evaluation on this. I have to agree on all counts. Just wanted to get some validation from forum.

The photo is a little blurry, but I don't see any obvious problems with the dial. Maybe re-lumed. I would run it by @gatorcpa , @Tony C. and others.

It's a redial for me. Also markers of the alarm are not symmetrical.

I cannot say for sure if dial is original. There were variations on the space between “Jaeger-LeCoultre” and “Automatic”. Dial has the “T”’s, so it has to be post-1963.

This might be a situation where the only way to tell is to look at the dial with a loupe.
