Hi guys / everyone who has helped to contribute towards my recent watch thread - apparently nothing was malfunctioning. It seemed that I was just not winding the crown the right way and wasn’t hitting the maximum it could be winded. Hence, the time reserve was also fluctuating. For now, it has hit around 42 hours for a full wind. I guess this is a pretty good number for a watch this age? Any thoughts?

Hi there just bought a gold plated de ville which is probably from the 1970’s. I’m wanting to check its authenticity and model with the movement in the photos. Also, if anyone owns this model, do you wind it upwards or downwards to get the time moving?

appreciate expert opinions or any help / advice here.
Have you been enjoying the watch, think it's a worth while purchase? have to opportunity to pick one up myself.
