One design flaw (if you can call it that) seems to be that the bezel number paint is often worn away, probably due to rubbing from cuffs.

··Omega Qualified WatchmakerBe aware that this is a steel and yellow gold plated watch. For a gold plated watch it's in good condition certainly, but the plating will wear off with use.

·I recently acquired the gray-on-gray version. Very subtle watch with its the bead blasted finish. It still has a bit of the tachy scale text, but it’s hard to find one that has truly bold text. The engraving is quite shallow.

·You can find a couple of Teutonic pre-owned watches offered on eBay. Gold not affected by the use.
I have a hunch that the numbers on the left side has been retouched. They seem bolder - and somewhat wonky - compared to the numbers on the right side; logically the side that ought to less worn.

·The Seamaster product line predates the Speedmaster one by nearly a decade. For a period of time, Speedmasters were considered a subset of the Seamaster line. Hence, Speedmasters with Seamaster casebacks.
That said, it is surprising that this 1982 (or so) Teutonic would still show a Seamaster caseback.

·@Paedipod I see a Titane Auto in there. I've often wondered if they were a "Teutonic" or maybe the red-headed stepchild of the range as they seem to share some of the DNA crossed with the Polaris. Most of them seem to come from German sellers. Nice to see one in someone's collection 👍

·they certainly wear similarly but some significant differences in where the bracelet meets the case. Domed crystal on the titane as well. I think that this is the hybrid of all of them....
