I have a friend with a 2435.50.00 and the crown does not screw down all the way. I am looking to replace the case tube for him and am trying to order the parts prior to repair. Does anyone know if this is a press fit or screw in case tube? If not, how easy is it to tell just by looking after taking out the movement? Does anyone have on hand the correct case tube and crown for this model? Thanks so much in advance.

Should have a case number of 168.1613

Case tube is 090ST1231 - it is press fitted into the case.

Crown is 069ST42147

Thanks so much! I think the case number was the missing link to finding this information. I did not realize everything goes off case number and not reference number.

The reference number is the start, but in many of these models the reference number may have used 2 or 3 different cases. In this instance there's only one case for this reference, but for something like the Bond Seamaster (25318000) there were 3 different cases used on that reference.
