··Ash @ ΩFWe don't actually use OpenSSL / HTTPS as most forums don't, so traffic to and from Omegaforums and other non-SSL sites is not encrypted. We may look at adding it in the future but its rather uncommon for forums.
I have noticed that photos taken upright with my smart phone or tablet gets tilted, when I try to upload them. Can imagine other people having the same problem. Will it be possible to add a rotate function for photos?
I apologize if this issue has been taken up before, but I couldn't find a thread about it.
For example in this thread:
http://omegaforums.net/threads/my-omega-seamaster-300.16337/
All Accio pictures do not appear. But fskywalker picture does appear.
The accio pictures are actually not on Omegaforums, they're external links to the photo hosting site imgur http://i.imgur.com/Dcdf8AY.jpg
OK so my browser has problem if the pictures linked to external hosting. Any suggestion to repair it?
Well imgur does contain a significant amount of porn, probably more so than most image hosting sites. Probably why it happened, I know some schools block it too. On the plus side, the next version of OF does a bit of trickery where the server pulls in images from other sites that are linked and re-serves them itself. Its meant to help us serve consistent image sizes and apply scaling to fit devices used but it doubles as a way to get around this sort of blocking.
We actually finished off that feature 3 days ago and it works really nicely, no more people linking 3000px wide images that make your ipad / slow internet cry, just fetched by our server from the third party site, scaled to sane dimensions, compressed and served by our servers and CDN.
Bit of a ways off on OF3 yet but we're working on it.
Hi Trev & dsio,
Is it possible to develop group features such as in Whatsapp or BBM in this forum?
For example I would like to create of Indonesian members Group which enable us to communicate in local language.
Just a thought.

I think he'd like to be able to maintain groups of contacts, so you don't need to re-create them every time. We're definitely interested in features like this.
