Not to everyone’s taste, but I’ve been wanting one of these old complications for a long time having had a couple of Casablancas many years ago. A difficult transaction with a big international dealer, with a return for repair needed, but all mine and fully serviced and on my wrist finally.

This is actually nicely understated for a FM watch.

I totally agree. People forget he produced some great pieces before a few ‘issues’ took over!

Some of his earlier pieces were quite attractive, I've had a few over the years. The normal letdown is the quality and finishing of the movements which is quite basic at FM's price point and why he doesn't use display backs too often. But many look pretty good on the wrist. Haven't seen the OP's style before, quite attractive.

This one is probably late 90s. Based on Valjoux 775x movement I think.

I quite liked some of the FM watches, I was always conflicted with he crazy hours version, one minute I quite liked it but then the next I thought it would drive me mad when trying to read the time.
Nice purchase, looks good.

I agree. My ocd wouldn’t let me enjoy it!

I really like the look of these FM, but you need the wrists for this tonneau shape case. Depending on the number of complications they can be excessively thick. Wish they would sit more nicely on mine. Do you know if the dial is hand guilloched or simply machine stamped?

This isn’t too thick and sits really nicely. I’ll try and get a profile picture. I believe the dials were hand finished.

I managed to get a couple of profile shots. My wrist is probably around 6.75
