Octo Finissimo - am I crazy for considering?

I just can't stop looking at this thing. I can find it for $9,500 in titanium. Am I crazy to spend this much on it? I could get a racing speedy for a lot less. I could get a few Omegas for this.

It's also weird cuz I don't like titanium watches usually because I wear a speedy mark ii so I like heft, but this thing just oozes cool. Thoughts?

Oh I also love the GO seventies chrono. Anyone had that? Similar price so have to consider...

It sounds like you already decided to get the watch and want one of us to give you affirmation.

Did you try the SS on?
I preferred the heft and look of that one compared to the Ti one.

Will try on ss too thanks. I do like that color. I'm not decided...just seems like a lot for one watch. Wondering if others think it is worth it too. A few weeks ago I wanted a Zenith... I change...just hoping I won't regret this one...

If you don't sell, just buy what you want.
I can't cop a price like that, but I quite like it.

Well... fortunately, window shopping is free. The Bulgari OF is honestly a fantastic watch and amazing value IMO. (Especially their new GMT chronograph!!).
It is on my long list, but I am just not sure it could become a daily wearer for me....

I think they are pretty cool looking. Wouldn't really wear one, but technically they are awesome watches. I have a feeling they may not hold value as I'm not sure they speak asthetically to a broad crown. Having said that, all that matters is if YOU like it!

Have to say.. wicked cool. If it sings to you go for it. Big depreciation though.

It's a fantastic watch that's very thin and light indeed. But that also increases the price and the cost of maintenance. Unless I really have a strong reason to go for the ultra thin watch, I'd prefer to go for a decent heft in watch that'll be much cheaper to own than this waferthin beauty. Just my 2 cents...

I dig it as well - incredible watchmaking. Bvlgari is under appreciated.

Wonder if you could find a mint example second hand at a fraction of the price.....

I like that it is thin. Going against the modern fashion to an extent.

I like it quite a lot. If it fits your wrist (looks like it does in the first pic) seriously consider it. Case materials and finishing are fantastic.

If take the GO Seventies all day between these two, that is one of my favourite watches from the past 10 years though.

I think they are really cool watches and really like the skeleton version, and the new sandblasted gold version is cool too, but expensive. There is a steel or titanium one at one of the auctions coming up but dont remember which one unfortunately, should be less than retail though....

It鈥檚 nice. Supposedly a Genta designed watch as well. Good luck.
