Thank you... actually it did not - at least not that I could find within the packaging.

Would have loved to, truly, but there isn't one that comes with the watch ~ or at least with my watch.
Was a bit letdown to not find one as I love me some good historic nerdery!

Nope. The dial says more than enough

How did you find a photo of my career... thought I deleted all of them.

Does anyone actually use the tachymetre on a Speedmaster…what the hell is a tachymetre!!

How about this slide rule cluster of shit!

80% of the people on this forum can’t even tell you what time it is after spending 5 minutes staring adoringly at their watches.

Or as my wife is oft to say... "Why the hell do you own all those fancy watches but yet when I ask, or even a stranger on the street asks, you the time you grab your phone and look?"

She's right of course but I don't lay down that easy for no one so I usually quip back with, "Well, I want to be accurate for you and them, part of being a responsible citizen... but if you asked me, for instance, to time you chasing down a sale at Macy's or snorking down a Snickers bar you can bet your ass you'd be thanking me then for wearing my chronograph or at minimum having a rotating bezel baby."

It is immensely helpful on the track. I would count every 6th spark plug detonation for a 60 second duration, use it to get the RPMs, and then upshift when needed.

(thankfully redline was only 400 RPM)

So I’m not the only one… *breathes sigh of relief*

Week #2 with this lil' Swiss banger... the conundrum ~ I really am missing wearing my Speedmaster Professional and end each day with the thought, "Tomorrow I am putting this one away and putting the Professional back on" and yet I do not.
Reset the time today on the Chronomaster, it had gained 17 seconds in its first week on wrist (pretty outstanding given the documentation on the Sellita movement), and with my newly found knowledge on back-setting (thank you @Dan S) no more issues with the sub-dial second's hand & main minute's hand not synchronizing.
Additionally, I've used the GMT function for a number of New Years calls and texts to New York City, London, Tokyo and Los Angeles as well as the bezel for timing roasting spaghetti squash, when to pick up my daughter from shopping, chilling prosecco and my wife bogarting the bathroom while she put on make-up.
Each time my eye catches it on my wrist or in the mirror while brushing my teeth or shaving or washing my hands it makes me smile.
Goddamn thing is making me fall hard in love with it.
Also this, my daughter loves it and wants one -- and it's the first watch I've ever owned whereby my wife has proclaimed, "Now that is stunning!"

Growing on you like a fungus.

Don't tell my wife... she thinks she's my only fungal infection.

And to be genuinely consistent with my "That asshole can never be fully pleased with anything" status...

the lume is disappointing - hands are fine but the dial indices are weaker than the gin at a local dive bar.

And the Chrono minute's hand really needs a lollipop option with this particular dial.

There is now a blacked out version. Zenith also just dropped a blacked out Chronomaster, so I guess black is the new black this year.
