Hey all,
I'm a first time UG owner , long time horology enthusiast.
picked up this beauty at a local flea market for a good deal, fell in love with the patina, reminded me of a patek,
loved the moonphase (didn't own one yet) and knew enough about UG to know i was getting a deal.
Anyways ive been searching and searching and CANNOT find this exact same model anywhere. reference wise, or whats its worth.
any help would be greatly appreciated guys.

i believe the reference on movt. is 291? and it is 14k gold filled i believe.....

Nice watch ! I think if you take the case back off the case is probably 14k or 18k gold. Cool lugs, dial looks good, but I would have to see a better picture of the dial to see if it is original. Enjoy the watch !

Dial looks original, I guess some had the 31 in the date register in red and some in black ? People please chime in on this one .

That is a correct observation. I've seen original dials with both black and red 31s.

Is it true that UG used 300 micron gold plating when every other watch manufacturer used 10 to 30 microns?

Can't recall where I read this so it's likely totally useless info...
