Hi OF. Long time lurker, first time poster, thought it was about time.

I wouldn’t call myself a collector (and I’ve not gotten into vintage... not yet anyway), but I acquired my first Omega in December, one of the last FOIS Speedmasters.

I own more Seiko than anything else but generally have an interest in anything with really strong design and great typography/lettering in particular. Looking forward to joining a few discussions here.

Cheers!

welcome!! Great piece!! it is a pity that being from London the watch is always running an hour behind continental Europe. 😗

PS: I know, I know.....yours is the "real" time.

Welcome 👍 I studied in London back in 2018 and lived in Clerkenwell. Let's see some of those Seikos!

Welcome! Nice watch to start your Omega collection. You mentioned you have a few Seikos. Seikos and especially the Grand Seikos are awesome quality watches.

Actually since Brexit our watches are running approximately 50 years behind continental Europe.

Nice to meet you @FlatTop, I’m in north London.

I’m also looking forward to seeing some of your Seikos.

Thanks for the welcome all, sounds like there are plenty of Seiko enthusiasts here - I’ll head on over to the Seiko sub forum then!

That’s probably the cleanest 62MAS I’ve seen - great piece. I love the design - I own the SLA017 which I’m a big fan of (no Grand Seiko... yet).
