Hi all,

My first post on this forum! Let me introduce myself. My name is Bas from Muiden which is a small city next to Amsterdam in the Netherlands. I'm in love with Speedmasters (who isn't) and that's mainly because of my dad. In 1970 he bought his first and only watch ever and he's still wearing it every day! And yes it's a Speedmaster and it looks amazing.

I'm into watches for about 4-5 years now and collected a couple of them these years. Below 3 of them which I like most. Took me some time to apply for this forum but here I am. Hopefully I can bring some usefull information or just a fun talk.

Enjoy your weekend and ciao,
Bas

I caught the autocorrect just after I posted it haha. Thanks 😀
Luckily there is Google translate nowadays but Dutch pronunciation for foreigners is still a b.tch though.

I know what you mean! I’m German and live in the US. Pronunciation is out the window. My English (us) keyboard doesn’t always know what I’m saying though... turning my Hallo into an angels angelic halo sigh haha

My former English colleague always said Dutch is easy: “...you just pretend you have a terrible throat disease and then you can talk Dutch...”
