New Camera advice, DSLR v Mirrorless

If you can, @davy26 definitely go with the full frame.
For the price difference, I think you'll see a pretty good increase in picture quality. Especially ISO/Noise
I've also enjoyed the wider view with my wide angle lenses since I got the EOS R.

I've seen some amazing watch photography on Instagram taken with phones.
Yes, those are small photos, but probably they can be printed out to A4 without a problem.
Low light performance is another story.

I've been using mirrorless since 2013 when I sold Canon 6D and got the first Fuji X camera. After that no turning back.
Love the Fuji colors, user experience, EVF, how the cameras look. I'm using Fuji X-T3.
Of course, I do RAW processing for most of my shots, but in natural light outdoor family photos are always SOOC.

Would the FF be better? Probably better noise handling.

I recently bought an Olympus OMD - no watch photos yet but I took these on holiday...

I use a Canon 70D as well as my plain ‘ole iPhone 11 Pro Max. Both provide me with great ability and options, especially when using the app ProCam on the iPhone.

Obviously if I’m in the mood to take professional-quality pics, the DSLR is my default. But for quick Instagram/social media pictures my iPhone is sufficient.
