Just dropping a quick line to introduce myself. I've lurked here for a long while and finally decided to register. I'm a longtime member of WUS and normally hang out in the Omega forum there (occasionally in the Rolex forum too!)
Collect mainly vintage pieces with no particular bent other than Omega. Glad to be here and look forward to participating in a like minded group.

Love the Speedmaster, but the Lobster is even better, that dial looks like aventurine is it? Badass pieces, also your photography isn't bad either!

Nah, the speedsonic has a mirror dial. Adventurine was quite likely a type of weed when this watch was produced in the 70's!
It truly is a bitch to photograph as it shows up all the dust on the crystal. Here is another shot on the wrist.


And how could I forget my 2254 on mesh!

Are the specs on the dial just dust on the crystal? It looked really cool in that first pic lol
